Version 2.0—

Redesigned workspace and Agent beta

Bisonflow 2.0: new navigation, shared planning canvas, TanStack Start, reviewed Agent commands, and MCP OAuth connections.

Bisonflow 2.0 brings a redesigned workspace, Agent beta, and MCP connections. The proposed business model remains unimplemented.

Added

  • MCP connections in Settings with OAuth consent, read-only defaults, optional project restrictions and revocation. Thirteen bounded tools provide workspace and project context, budgets, milestones, and issue lookup. Issue creation and updates require explicit write permission.

  • Agent conversations for project questions, text and voice instructions, and supported issue command proposals. Changes require explicit approval and pass existing server access checks.

  • Milestones with optional versions, so a delivery checkpoint does not need a software version number.

  • Separate phone and desktop density preferences, independent of text size.

Changed

  • Redesigned navigation, project scope controls, and shared issue and document toolbars.
  • Project Timeline and workspace Roadmap now use the same planning canvas. Week view is the default; expanded planning retains orientation and exit controls.
  • Documents separate title and content, with a temporary editing lock that identifies the current editor.
  • Milestone delivery requires assigned work and completed issues. Canceled tasks do not count toward completion.
  • TanStack Start replaces Next.js. Convex remains responsible for application data and Clerk for identity. Public pages stay separate from authenticated workspace providers.
  • Voice input moves into Agent; the separate voice panel is removed.

Fixed

  • Canceling checkout keeps the selected plan, billing interval, and workspace for retry.
  • Private uploads verify file size before saving the attachment.

Availability and migration

The migration preserves existing content, identifiers, file references, and subscription mappings. Team workspaces support up to 20 members; existing members are retained.

MCP connections use https://bisonflow.com/api/mcp. Connect through Settings and review the requested permissions. Free, Basic, Business, and Enterprise remain an unimplemented proposal. Current subscriptions and charges are unchanged.

Read the redesign, framework migration, Agent beta guide, MCP guide, and proposed offer for the reasoning and limits. Try the read-only demo to inspect the new workspace.
